Dental Treatment Coordinator Position

Enamel Dentistry in the heart of Austin, TX is seeking a vibrant and enthusiastic Dental Treatment Coordinator to join our team Are you a customer service pro, a communication expert, and deeply dedicated to providing top-notch dental care? Compensation:

$22 hourly DOE

Responsibilities:

  • Greet incoming patients in a friendly and welcoming manner
  • Facilitate office tours and explain amenities to new patients
  • Prepare the office lobby for patient success when opening the office
  • Power on requisite equipment, such as TVs, iPads, and computers and set up lobby music
  • Provide the patient with treatment plan details and financial estimates for all prescribed treatments
  • Plan and book patient appointments; reschedule missed appointments and contact patients who have not completed treatments
  • Coordinate Doctor and hygiene schedules to optimize usage of appointment times
  • Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure effective management of daily patient flow and convey important information to the proper individuals
  • Assist patients with payment arrangements and complete pre-authorization
  • Handle all required documents, including consent and policy forms and exit paperwork
  • Maintain good communication and relations with the Doctor and encourage team spirit via professional behavior
  • Process check-out procedure for patients
  • Receive and return incoming calls from/to patients
  • Abide by confidentiality policy, and state, federal, or HIPAA laws in regard to patient records
  • Adhere to Enamel Dentistry Group policies and obey instructions from Office Manager
Qualifications:

  • At least one year of experience as a Dental financial coordinator
  • Outstanding communication capabilities
  • Superior problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
  • A professional and upbeat attitude
  • At least one year of experience with dental insurance
  • The capacity to effectively deal with customer complaints
  • Familiarity with Open Dental, Slack, Blue Note, and Google Suite is a benefit
  • Familiarity with 3rd party financing is advantageous
  • Bilingual abilities are a plus
