Job Summary:

  • Travel and Train: Visit clinic locations for new hire training, advanced training, and ongoing support following clinic openings.
  • Hands-On Coaching: Provide practical training on laser technology and aesthetic procedures, ensuring clinicians are proficient and confident.
  • Platform Navigation: Instruct employees on navigating platforms such as LMS, ADP, Deputy, and PULSE 2.0.
  • Assessment and Improvement: Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, implement improvements, and monitor MXM survey detractors to identify areas for refinement training.
  • Industry Expertise: Stay updated on industry best practices and LaserAways’s SOPs and guidelines to enhance training expertise.
  • Support and Develop: Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the clinical team, promoting engagement and skill enhancement.
  • Shift Coverage: In addition to training duties, the Clinical Trainer will be expected to cover shifts and treat patients as needed, ensuring seamless clinic operations during times when training is not scheduled.

  • Palo Alto
  • San Carlos
  • Emeryville
  • Oakland
  • Union Square
  • Marina
  • Castro

Coverage primarily includes the locations listed above; however, it may extend beyond these based on business needs.

Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Build training schedules and book model appointments.
  • Provide immediate feedback and coaching to clinicians during and after training sessions.
  • Recognize when additional training is needed and communicate with the Clinical Training Team to address gaps.
  • Collaborate with Location Directors, Regional Sales Directors, and other key stakeholders to create staff improvement plans.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on LaserAway’s products, procedures, and best practices.
  • Promote engagement and ongoing skill enhancement among team members.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience: 2+ years in clinical training within medical aesthetics preferred but not required. (Training experience preferred for external candidates).
  • Licensure: Current RN or equivalent clinical credentials (NP, PA).
  • Skills: Expertise in laser technology and aesthetic procedures, strong presentation and communication abilities, and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Attributes: Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and travel to specified clinic locations.

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:

  • Proficient eye-hand-foot coordination for operating devices.
  • Ability to perceive and differentiate colors.
  • Capable of bending, sitting, standing, and walking without assistance.
  • Can hold laser and device handpieces for extended periods and lift equipment up to 8 pounds.
  • Comfortable wearing protective eyewear and tolerating flashing lights.
