Busboys and Poets is seeking a talented and creative Multimedia Marketing Specialist to join our dynamic marketing team. As a Multimedia Marketing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our brand presence and driving customer engagement through various digital channels. Your expertise in multimedia content creation, social media management, and digital advertising will contribute to the overall success of our marketing campaigns.

Responsibilities:
  • Multimedia Content Creation: Develop engaging multimedia content, including videos, graphics, and animations, to promote Busboys and Poets across multiple platforms such as website, social media, email marketing, and digital advertisements.
  • Social Media Management: Manage and curate Busboys and Poets' social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.) to increase brand awareness, drive customer engagement, and foster a vibrant online community.
  • Digital Advertising: Plan and execute digital advertising campaigns across various platforms (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, etc.) to increase brand visibility, drive website traffic, and generate leads.
  • Website Management: Collaborate with the web development team to ensure the website is up-to-date, visually appealing, and optimized for user experience. Regularly monitor website analytics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Conduct regular analysis of marketing campaigns, website performance, and social media metrics to measure the effectiveness of marketing efforts. Provide insightful reports and recommendations to optimize future marketing strategies.
  • Brand Management: Maintain brand consistency across all multimedia channels, ensuring adherence to Busboys and Poets' visual and messaging guidelines. Collaborate with the events team to create visually compelling marketing materials.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with the marketing & events team, operationsand other stakeholders to develop and implement integrated marketing campaigns. Effectively communicate project updates, deadlines, and ideas in a collaborative manner.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Multimedia Design, or a related field preferred but not required.
  • Proven experience in multimedia content creation, social media management, and digital advertising. Portfolio will be requested
  • Proficiency in multimedia software and tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro), Canva, or similar applications.
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms, digital advertising platforms, and website management systems (WordPress.).
  • Familiarity with analytics tools (Google Analytics, social media analytics) to measure campaign effectiveness and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and creativity.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A passion for arts, culture, and community engagement is highly desirable.
