Green House Solar is an independent local business operating out of Madison, NJ. We are currently recruiting an Experienced Electrician to join our team

The right candidate for this position is a hands-on individual who is interested in pursuing a career in renewable energy and has a passion for a 'going green.' Job Responsibilities:

• Install and repair solar/electrical equipment as well as various types of wiring and cabling

• Perform routine maintenance and ability to troubleshoot solar/electrical systems

• Maintain compliance to all PPE and safety regulations per OSHA and IEEE standards

• Work with the crew to ensure all required parts to complete that day’s project is loaded and stocked into the company vehicles

• Cutting, bending, threading and running electrical conduit materials

• Ability to perform work as instructed and maintain a clean work environment at the end of each day

Qualifications:

• Ambitious & driven mentality

• Ability to build rapport working with clients from different cultural backgrounds

• Able to perform tasks with minimal to no supervision

• Flexible & optimistic attitude

• Ability to communicate to various departments & work well with others

• Ensure that each customer experience is as informative and enjoyable as possible

Requirements:

• Previous experience in the Electrical and/or Solar Field

• Familiarity with electrical code, schematics, blueprints and manuals

• Ability to operate electrical equipment and hand tools

• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills

• Reliable transportation and valid NJ Driver’s License

• Pass standard background check

• Must be willing to work in high places & on rooftops

• Be able to work late and on weekends, when needed

Education:

• High School or equivalent

• Minimum of 5+ years Electrical Experience

• Electrical Trade Education
