Toddler Auxiliary Teacher

Village of Promise in Huntsville, AL is seeking qualified and dedicated individuals to join our team as Toddler Auxiliary Teacher (Assistant) to work at our non-profit. As a Toddler Auxiliary teacher, you will play a crucial role in maintaining continuity in the educational process during the absence of our regular teaching staff.

Type: Full-Time (will be a W2 status)

Compensation: $26,000 annually

Hours: Vary between 7:30 am - 3:30 pm

Ages: 6 weeks to Pre-K

Responsibilities:

- Implement lesson plans provided by the lead teachers.

- Maintain a positive and effective learning environment.

- Manage classroom behavior and ensure a productive and safe atmosphere.

- Provide instruction, assistance, and support to students as needed.

- Follow school policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent

- Valid teaching certificate.

- Previous teaching or substitute teaching experience is a plus.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to adapt to different classroom environments and teaching styles.

- Must be able to pass DHR required background check
