What You’ll Do- Plan the Budget Effectively: Develop and manage detailed budgets for projects, ensuring all financial resources are allocated efficiently.
- Monitor Expenses with Checkpoints: Utilize periodic checkpoints to analyze project expenses, ensuring team members adhere to the budget and identifying any necessary adjustments.
- Implement Change Control Systems: Manage changes arising from project issues or delays, adjusting the budget accordingly to account for increased labor and material costs.
- Track and Document Changes: Oversee all project modifications to ensure necessary budget adjustments are made and document all changes to confirm their relevance and necessity.
- Time Management: Ensure project expenses are minimized by meeting deadlines and maintaining efficient workflows.
- Track Earned Value: Calculate earned value by multiplying the percentage of work completed by the budget at project completion, ensuring accurate financial tracking.
- Cost of Materials: Evaluate the total cost of all supplies and equipment required for projects, including pre-project orders, in-progress acquisitions, and final procurement.
- Actual Cost Analysis: Measure the total expenses from project initiation to completion, including labor, materials, and other related costs.
- Cost Variance Measurement: Identify and analyze any discrepancies between actual project costs and the established budget.
- Return on Investment (ROI): Assess project profitability by comparing investment costs with financial returns.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Demonstrate strong skills in Excel and PowerPoint for financial analysis and reporting.
- Compensation Data Expertise: Experience with compensation data is a plus.
- Strong Organizational and Leadership Skills: Exhibit excellent organizational, communication, and leadership abilities to manage and guide project teams effectively.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction management cost control
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
- Strong foundation in financial principles and business management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure
- Fluent in Korean is nice but not required
