Job Summary:


Responsible for welding a variety of engineered parts per given specifications utilizing the TIG and/or MIG welding process and completing given tasks by an assigned due date.


Essential Duties/Responsibilities:


  • TIG & MIG weld stainless steel, aluminum and mild steel in all positions
  • Ability to read and interpret AutoCAD and technical drawings and follow bill of materials (BOMs)
  • Quality check parts after completion to insure they match the engineered print
  • Create new welding jigs/fixtures that pertain to the part
  • Operate vertical, horizontal and other type of saws as well as other power and hand tools
  • Will be responsible for pulling/picking material from stock to complete work

Education/Experience:


  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two or more years of current and documentable welding experience with TIG and MIG welding and/or a recently completed degree or certificate in welding and joining technology

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:


  • Ability to perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials
  • Ability to successfully pass an in-house welding test
  • Flexibility to respond to dynamic work environment and customer needs
  • Familiarity with Microsoft D365 ERP is a plus
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Lift and move parts that can weight up to 70lbs

Ability to work and collaborate as an integral part of a team
