Reports To: Director of Operations


Position Overview:

Michele's Granola is seeking a proactive and experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee and optimize our warehouse and fulfillment operations during a critical growth phase. The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for overseeing two shifts, with a particular focus on growing and developing the 2nd shift's operations and systems. This role involves managing a team that includes one supervisor, with the potential to hire an additional supervisor as business needs dictate.


Key Responsibilities:

· Oversee daily warehouse operations across two shifts, ensuring efficient and effective management of personnel, processes, and resources.

· Manage and grow the warehouse team as needed to support operations growth.

· Lead the setup of an offsite warehouse to address capacity constraints, including planning, execution, and ongoing management.

· Provide oversight to the eCommerce team of three, ensuring that all daily orders are processed and shipped on schedule, troubleshooting issues as appropriate.

· Be accountable for the overall success and performance of all warehouse systems including the receiving and shipping processes, capacity building and infrastructure planning such as demand for racking systems.

· Implement and utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) effectively to optimize warehouse operations.

· Implement best practices for inventory management, space utilization, and order fulfillment.

· Develop and maintain KPIs to measure and improve warehouse performance.

· Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.

· Foster a culture of continuous improvement and team engagement within the warehouse and fulfillment team.

· Collaborate with the Director of Operations and other departments to support Michele's Granola's growth initiatives.


Qualifications:

· Four-year degree required, Bachelors in Science preferred

· Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or similar role in a fast-paced environment, preferably in the food or CPG industry.

· Experience setting up a warehouse from the ground up, including planning, layout, staffing, and system implementation.

· Experience using ERP and WMS required, SAP Business One Preferred

· Warehouse optimization experience preferred.

· Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of developing high-performing teams.

· Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.

· Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

· Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs.

· Familiarity with inventory control, order fulfillment, and distribution processes.

· Demonstrated ability to drive operational efficiency and process improvements.

· Self-starter with a hands-on approach and a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
