THE INS AND OUTS OF BECOMING A MAINTENANCE WORKER

THE SCHEDULE:

You normally work from Monday - Thursday, 7:00 am - 4:00 pm and Friday, 7:00 am - 11:00 am with some on-call hours.

YOUR ROLE:

Every day brings new opportunities to flex your mechanical skills and play a vital role in maintaining our city's utilities and infrastructure Attentively, you inspect, repair, and maintain streets, signs, parks, sewer systems, and building facilities. You also contribute to various construction and reconstruction projects, performing labor such as digging ditches, repairing pavement, and clearing snow in the winter. Your dedication and care support safe and accessible spaces for our residents

OUR REQUIREMENTS:

  • 1+ years of related experience
  • Valid Utah driver's license or CDL
  • High school diploma or equivalent

3+ years of mechanical experience would be preferred but isn't required. Our ideal candidate also has heavy equipment experience and a stormwater or sanitary sewer certification.
