Queen Of Pawns in Deerfield Beach, FL is looking for one pawn broker / sales associate to join our 8 person strong team. We are located on 31 S Federal Highway. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, motivated, and engaged.
SUMMARY: Provides excellent customer service while securing loans to businesses and individuals with personal property items such as jewelry used as collateral and making sales of a wide variety of items throughout the store.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Delivers excellent customer service to every customer who walks through the door
Accurately use Pawn Master for all transactions
Accepts payments on pawns, sales and layaways
Retrieves items back to those who have repaid loans
Be knowledgeable of items in the store
Engage and satisfy the customer while negotiating the best price for the Company
Provide product demonstrations, as requested
Actively involved in security procedures in accordance with the Security Procedures Manual
Responsible for following processes detailed in procedures manuals.
Ensures all merchandise is properly labeled and stored
Participates in keeping the store neat and clean
Pulls merchandise from storage as it comes out of hold or pawn and clean it as needed in preparation for being on the sales floor
Handles all merchandise respectfully
Performs other related duties as assigned by management
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Preferred
· Possess basic computer knowledge/skills
· Basic math and communication (verbal and written) skills
· Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
