Toolworks' Community Living Department is currently looking for dedicated, creative individuals to join our team
Compensation: $21.63/hour for all East Bay areas. $22.17/hour for San Francisco locations
Primary Role: To provide attendant care, in-home support, instruction and training to clients in all areas of daily living, including, but not limited to: meal preparation, shopping, hygiene, personal care, budgeting, medical appointments, travel, community access, safety awareness, and maintaining a clean and healthy living environment
Work Schedule: We have a wide variety of on-call, part- and full-time schedules including day, evening, overnight (sleeping shifts) and weekend shifts in San Francisco, San Mateo, and Alameda County areas. Schedules can be tailored to meet individual employee needs.
You are an ideal candidate for our Community Living Department if:
- You are passionate about supporting people, regardless of ability-level, to live the lives they choose
- You enjoy working with peers and clients from all walks of life and learning from others
- Your ideal job is out in the community not stuck behind a desk
- Have ability to work a flexible schedule throughout the week
- Can work independently and take initiative with day-to-day case management needs
- Can participate in an emergency after hours on-call rotation as needed (additional stipend offered)
- Have experience working in one or more of the following areas: behavioral health/behavior modification, Seniors and/or persons with significant health needs, Autism Spectrum, developmental disabilities
Full paid training provided
**The Health and Safety of our clients and staff is our first priority. Toolworks provides all PPE and access to free COVID testing
Program requirements:
- Fingerprint background check (Child Abuse Index, Criminal Record Clearance)
- First Aid/CPR certification required (within 30 days and provided internally)
- Clean DMV printout and proof of auto insurance (if using car to transport clients - not required)
