POSITION SUMMARY
Installs commercial cabinetry/millwork in designated locations in a safe and courteous manner and in accordance with established standards and procedures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Installs cabinetry/millwork in accordance with established standards and procedures; maintains safety and professionalism at all times
- Completely and accurately tests installed cabinetry/millwork, ensuring it is in proper working order prior to departure from installation site
- Accurately completes all necessary paperwork including but not limited to work orders, service orders, and time logs
- Maintains inventory control of assigned equipment/product to ensure adequate stock levels participates in the inventory process
- Maintains control of all assigned company property and ensures that equipment is maintained in safe operating condition at all times
- Safely operates assigned company vehicle
- Exhibits appearance and conduct in accordance with established company standards to present a professional image to customers and the general public; maintains the highest degree of decency, honesty, and integrity as a guest in a customers’ home and/or business
- Thoroughly clean work areas of assigned jobs at the end of each project and/or day
- Load/Unload finished products and raw materials/tools from company or third-party vehicles at job sites and help to stage items for installation
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)
- At least 3 years experience with Millwork installation skills, and abilities to install commercial cabinetry/millwork
- The ability to read and interpret site/architecture/engineering schematics
- Extensive knowledge of and the ability to efficiently and safely utilize finish carpentry tools, materials and techniques
- Basic math skills and the ability to read a tape measure
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent customer service skills
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines, manage priorities and workflow
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to understand any and all safety requirements and cautions
- Ability to perform the physical labor necessary
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record to be insured on company vehicles
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
