Eye Trends is currently hiring a part-time Optometrist who is looking for additional income and an outstanding work-life balance. What you'll do:

As part of the Eye Trends team, you'll practice in a modern, dynamic, state-of-the-art clinic, providing comprehensive eye care to patients of all ages, visual and medical conditions. You'll perform patient examinations, recommend vision-enhancing solutions, and educate patients about their ocular health. You'll have access to advanced diagnostic technology, including Humphry's Visual Field Analysis, Nidek OPD, FDT, J & J Lipi-Scann, Topcon KR800, Optos Daytona, Topcon 3D OCT Maestro, Iconan, Mibo Therma-Flo, and Blephex. Plus, a highly-trained staff supports you throughout examinations.

Who we're seeking:

Eye Trends is seeking a skilled part-time Optometrist who can provide excellent patient care and deliver outstanding customer service through all patient interactions. The ideal candidate is a team player with a positive attitude and excellent multi-tasking skills. This position is part-time, three days a week, working every other Saturday. Job Specifications

Typically has the following skills or abilities:

Doctor of Optometry degree, O.D. including Third Party Administrator (TPA) certificate of licensure

1-3 years of clinical practice experience with current knowledge of Optometric technology and practices; new graduates are encouraged to apply

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Strong management, leadership, and organizational skills

Strong business aptitude, self-discipline, and ability to deliver outstanding patient service

Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of his/her job duties

Working Conditions

The working environment is generally favorable, lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc.
