Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Math Teacher to join our team. This position will work with all grades K-8, ensuring all students receive a high-quality math education aligned with our school's mission and values.

Responsibilities:

  • Curriculum Development: Design and implement a comprehensive, skill-based math curriculum that aligns with school standards.
  • Instruction: Deliver engaging and differentiated instruction to small groups of students across various grade levels.
  • Assessment: Utilize a variety of assessment tools to monitor student progress, identify areas of need, and adjust instruction accordingly.
  • Leadership: Oversee teacher aides, providing guidance, support, and lesson planning assistance.
  • Collaboration: Partner with other teachers and administrators to create a cohesive learning environment that supports the whole child.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned by the administration.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
  • Current teaching certification in Elementary Education or Mathematics.
  • Current IVP Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • Demonstrated experience teaching math to elementary students.
  • Strong understanding of child development and learning theories.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for working with children and a commitment to their success.
