Texoma Community Center (TCC) is one of 39 Texas Community Centers, which are governmental entities as defined by Title 7 of the Texas Health and Safety Code.

Position Summary:

Provides clerical support, data management functions, scheduling and program inventory control to all substance use disorder treatment programs. Work involves compiling and tabulating data, checking documents for accuracy, entering data into multiple systems, and maintaining files. Supports program director with ad hoc administrative reporting and creative tasks. Maintains annual reporting logs required by HHSC. Position is responsible for creating new client files and completing responsibilities necessary for all special projects. Monitors and secures program supplies. Serves on safety committee and is representative for facility in accordance with the philosophy, goals and objectives of Texoma Community Center. Reports to SUD Office Manager and Program Director. Operates under trauma-informed and recovery-oriented models of care which align with CCBHC standards.

Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience:

  • High School Diploma
  • College course work in Business Practice preferred
  • Experience working with individuals with mental illness and/ or substance use issues desirable
  • Ability to speak second language appropriate to client population preferred

Certificates, Licensure, Registrations:

  • Current driver’s license and a vehicle for use at work

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to speak a second language relevant to population served preferred
  • Must be self-motivated, organized and detail oriented
  • Exceptional knowledge of Office Suite required
  • Consistently practices Trauma-informed Model of Care, understands and considers the pervasive nature of trauma.
  • The knowledge of cultural differences and ability to work with individuals from different cultural backgrounds
