Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to join our Global Distribution & Logistics Center of Excellence team for an exciting project. This role involves a balance of IT and non-IT responsibilities, focusing on SAP and vendor data integration, EDI, and data interfaces. You will play a critical role in managing the Freight Audit Payment (FAP) project, ensuring its success through effective planning, execution, and stakeholder communication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Assessment & Planning:

    • Analyze the current state of FAP, define project scopes, requirements, and understand the impact on functional and stakeholder elements.
    • Develop comprehensive project plans, including monitoring and tracking processes, using various project management tools to meet objectives and deliverables.
  • Documentation & Compliance:

    • Document BTS (Business Technology Solutions) and SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) requirements.
    • Ensure compliance with AbbVie Corp. IT standards and project deadlines.
  • Stakeholder Communication:

    • Drive communication with stakeholders regarding project status and updates.
    • Regularly update project timelines, monitor progress, and address any issues that arise.
  • Technical Understanding & Integration:

    • Capture and understand key technical elements of the FAP project, including EDI interfaces, external data connections, and SAP functions (PTP, RTR, Financial Accounting, Vendor Setup, Treasury, Tax).
  • Project Reporting & Financial Tracking:

    • Provide updates to the management team using tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, and Teams.
    • Collaborate with finance and BTS teams to track and update project financials in corporate systems.

Qualifications:

  • Education:

    • Bachelor's degree in IT, Logistics, Finance, Engineering, Business Management, or a related field.
  • Experience:

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Logistics, Financial Controls, FAP, SAP, and Project Management.
    • Experience in Change Management is a plus.
  • Skills:

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Proven ability to facilitate and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
    • Advanced skills with project management tools (SmartSheets, MS Project, Jira, etc.).
    • In-depth knowledge of EDI, SAP (PTP, RTR), and FAP processes.
    • Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for analysis, reporting, and data management.
    • Ability to interact confidently and credibly with senior management.
    • Demonstrated independence and ability to anticipate program scope and deliverable changes.
