We are excited to partner with a premier manufacturer, packager, and distributor of over-the-counter pharmaceutical products and consumer healthcare goods in the search for a highly motivated and experienced Maintenance Technician to support our operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machinery maintenance, welding, and assisting line mechanics. Additionally, this role will serve as a backup to our facilities maintenance person, requiring familiarity with HVAC, plumbing, and general construction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repair on machinery, including gear boxes, gear motors, and air compressors.
  • Assist line mechanics with troubleshooting and repairing production equipment.
  • Conduct welding tasks as needed for maintenance and repair projects.
  • Serve as backup for the facilities maintenance team, handling HVAC, plumbing, and general construction tasks.
  • Ensure all equipment is maintained in accordance with safety and quality standards.
  • Respond to emergency maintenance requests promptly and efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
  • Collaborate with the production team to minimize downtime and improve overall efficiency.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of machinery maintenance, welding, gear boxes, gear motors, and air compressors.
  • Familiarity with HVAC systems, plumbing, and general construction.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Certification in welding, HVAC, or related fields is a plus.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred.
