  • Is able to support the business by applying and improving HR processes
  • Helps define HR policies and procedures
  • Performs work with minimal direction

Required Skills

General ability to manage and oversee HR processes and procedures, capable of:

  • Coordinating the hiring process by managing job posting on the website, prescreening resumes, and scheduling interviews and reference checks
  • Conducting onboarding and orientation sessions for new hires
  • Managing employee benefits packets and enrollment
  • Maintaining personnel files in compliance with applicable legal requirements
  • Keeping employee records up-to-date by processing employee status changes through employee management systems
  • Managing employee relations
  • Organizing and overseeing employee engagement activities
  • Drafting policies and updating the employee handbook as needed

Preferred Skills

A general knowledge of:

  • Employee management systems (Paylocity)

Experience

Seeking 2-3 years of experience in HR Management or Business Management

Location

Hyattsville, MD- Hybrid Setting available

Residency

Authorized to work in the US (US citizen, US green card)
