Landscaping Superintendent

Haven Hub is a leading home services and landscaping company based in Southern California, specializing in creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces for residential clients. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Landscaping Superintendent to join our team and oversee our landscaping operations.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate landscaping projects from start to finish, ensuring that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
• Manage and lead a team of landscapers, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
• Plan and organize work schedules, assignments, and resources to meet project deadlines and budget requirements.
• Conduct site inspections to assess project progress, identify issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Collaborate with clients, architects, designers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver exceptional results.
• Oversee the maintenance and operation of landscaping equipment and vehicles, ensuring they are properly maintained and utilized.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations and company policies to create a safe working environment for all team members.
• Manage inventory levels of materials, supplies, and equipment to support project needs and minimize waste.
• Prepare and submit accurate reports, including project status updates, budget expenditures, and personnel records.
• Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and new technologies to continuously improve operations and deliver innovative solutions.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience (5 years) working in a landscaping supervisory or managerial role, preferably in a similar environment.
• In-depth knowledge of landscaping techniques, materials, and equipment, with a strong understanding of plant care, irrigation systems, hardscaping, and landscape design principles.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others to achieve excellence.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, team members, and vendors.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly assess situations, identify solutions, and implement effective resolutions.
• Proficiency in using computer software and mobile applications for project management, scheduling, and reporting.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
