Construction Superintendent

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly detail-oriented Construction Superintendent to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role involves overseeing daily construction operations, coordinating with subcontractors, consultants, and vendors, and ensuring that project milestones are achieved without compromising quality or safety. Your deep expertise in construction planning, blueprint interpretation, and strong leadership abilities will be critical in ensuring the successful delivery of our projects.

Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities

• Blueprint Interpretation: Demonstrate a strong ability to interpret and apply construction plans and blueprints accurately.
• Project Planning: Utilize Microsoft Project to develop and maintain a precise 3-week look-ahead schedule that ensures smooth project progression.
• Resource Coordination: Effectively schedule and manage subcontractors, consultants, and vendors to ensure timely project completion.
• Quality Control: Actively participate in quality control measures to ensure all work meets or exceeds industry standards.
• Communication and Reporting: Maintain clear and efficient communication with the project team, addressing ASIs, RFIs, and material submittals promptly.
• Compliance Management: Ensure that subcontractors adhere to their contractual obligations and industry regulations.
• Local Jurisdiction Liaison: Coordinate and schedule essential inspections with local authorities to maintain compliance.
• Safety and Environmental Standards: Monitor and enforce strict adherence to safety, health, and environmental standards on-site.
• Conflict Resolution: Proactively identify and resolve conflicts or deviations from project plans in collaboration with the project team.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed and accurate daily activity logs using Procore.
• Inventory Management: Track and manage supplies and materials to prevent loss and ensure timely procurement.
• Team Coordination: Lead weekly meetings with subcontractors to promote teamwork, alignment, and project cohesion.
• Site Management: Ensure the construction site remains safe, clean, and organized at all times.
• Project Completion: Oversee project progress and ensure efficient completion of punch list tasks.
