Role Overview:

As a Project Manager at Lucky 21, you will be responsible for managing and executing a wide range of projects that are crucial to our operations and IT department. Your role is essential in ensuring that all aspects of a project, from conception to completion, are meticulously planned, executed, and delivered. You will oversee the coordination of various teams across the company, ensuring that each project aligns with our strategic goals. Reporting directly to the President, this role is key to our growth and operational efficiency.


Primary Objectives:

  • Oversee and manage the end-to-end execution of projects across various departments, including IT, operations, finance, and remote teams.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure all project components are aligned and completed on time.
  • Conduct training sessions and provide clear instructions to relevant teams on new implementations and processes.
  • Own the entire lifecycle of projects, ensuring they meet business objectives and are delivered on schedule.


Regular Work Activities:

  • Plan and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that timelines, budgets, and resources are effectively allocated.
  • Coordinate with various teams across the company, including IT, to implement new systems, processes, or initiatives, and ensure successful integration.
  • Lead training initiatives for relevant teams to ensure they are well-versed in new methods or systems.
  • Provide regular project updates to the President, highlighting progress, challenges, and areas for improvement.


What Success Looks Like:

  • Successful and timely completion of projects, meeting all predefined objectives and business goals.
  • Efficient coordination and communication with all involved teams, resulting in smooth project execution.
  • High level of team engagement and understanding of new systems or methods, ensuring seamless integration into daily operations.


IT Background Requirement:
While this role is not a coding position, a solid understanding of IT systems and processes is essential. You should be comfortable working with technical teams, managing the implementation of IT-related projects, and understanding the basic concepts behind our technology stack. This knowledge is key to coordinating IT and operations teams and ensuring successful project integration.


Interactions:

  • Collaborate closely with IT teams and other departments to ensure technical and operational aspects of projects are executed efficiently.
  • Coordinate with various teams across the company to implement and train on new processes or systems.
  • Report directly to the President, providing regular updates and feedback on project status.


Metrics for Evaluation:

  • Timeliness and budget adherence of completed projects.
  • Effectiveness of training sessions and the adoption rate of new processes or systems.
  • Overall project impact on operational efficiency and business objectives.


Technology Stack:

Our systems are built and rely on robust MVC tools built with PHP to support our operations, including managed AWS RDS (Relational Database Service) servers, multiple SQL databases, VRP as our inventory management system, and Zendesk for task management. As a Project Manager, you will also be responsible for implementing and managing a project management tool, such as Asana or a similar platform.


Work Environment:

This role is primarily in-house, with occasional opportunities for remote work depending on project needs and timelines.
