We are seeking dedicated Roofing Quality Control Technicians to join our Steep Slope Department. This role is crucial to ensuring that our roofing projects meet the highest standards of quality and safety. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, testing, and overseeing roofing installations, including shingle, metal, slate, shake, and tile roofs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspection and Testing: Conduct detailed inspections of roofing installations to ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor the quality of materials and workmanship, identifying any defects or deviations from the approved plans.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed records of inspections, tests, and corrective actions. Prepare and submit quality control reports to management and clients.
  • Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Compliance: Ensure all roofing projects comply with local building codes, manufacturer guidelines, and company standards.

  • Physical Requirements: Ability to work at heights, lift heavy materials, and perform tasks requiring physical exertion.
