Do you enjoy providing leadership, support, and problem-solving? Are you excited about developing a result-oriented team and seeing your team members grow? Our ConMet - Canton facility is looking for a production supervisor to lead our night shift team in the Injection Molding Department.
Schedule: 7:00 pm to 7:30 am (night shift)

What You Will Do:

  • Ensure that all shift team members comply with safety procedures and use required safety equipment.
  • Generate and prioritize work assignments after receiving daily molding schedule and communicate a plan of action to the appropriate personnel.
  • Direct all shift team members, as needed, to ensure that production and quality guidelines are met.
  • Ensure that all necessary procedures, instructions, and equipment are at each work station.
  • Provide training, guidance, and leadership, as needed, for all shift team members.
  • Build and support a positive employee experience from onboarding and beyond.
  • Ensure that a safe and clean work environment is provided.
  • Provide detailed daily attendance and end-of-shift reports.
  • Constantly work on problem-solving and continuous improvement activities to provide a better and more efficient work environment.

What You Need to Be Successful:

  • Min 3 years of related supervisory experience in an injection molding production environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • Thorough technical knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures of injection molding machines including mold die changes, machine set up, and quality-related troubleshooting required
  • Understanding of inventory control practices
  • Lean manufacturing experience
  • Knowledge of ISO and IATF 16949 standards and systems
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
  • Strong leadership skills, including the ability to effectively communicate and manage employee performance
  • Experience in the Automotive sector is preferred
