We are seeking a Lead Excavator who will play a pivotal role in overseeing and executing excavation projects, ensuring they are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Your extensive experience in excavation and leadership skills will be instrumental in driving the success of our projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and supervise excavation crews, ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols and industry standards.
  • Operate and oversee the operation of heavy excavation equipment, including excavators, bulldozers, and loaders.
  • Plan and coordinate excavation projects, including site preparation, trenching, and grading, while ensuring efficient resource allocation.
  • Conduct site inspections to assess project requirements and challenges and provide recommendations for problem-solving.
  • Monitor project progress and work closely with project managers to ensure projects are executed within established timelines and budgets.
  • Train and mentor excavation crew members, promoting skill development and safety awareness.
  • Address and resolve project-related challenges, including unforeseen issues and emergencies.
  • Maintain a positive and productive work environment, fostering teamwork and a commitment to quality.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (relevant certifications in excavation are a plus).
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as an excavator operator and in a lead role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in operating a variety of heavy excavation equipment.
  • Knowledge of excavation techniques, safety protocols, and relevant regulations.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A strong commitment to safety and quality in excavation projects.
  • Must be familiar with directional drilling machinery with minimum 5 years full time experience.
