Influx Building Technologies is a manufacturing company growing rapidly in the construction industry. As part of our ongoing growth, we are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Inventory Clerk to join our team. The Inventory Clerk will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring the availability of products, and supporting the inventory management process. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, including data entry and regular updates.
  • Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Monitor inventory levels and reorder supplies as necessary.
  • Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments of products and materials.
  • Organize and store inventory in designated locations.
  • Prepare and distribute inventory reports to management.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of inventory control procedures.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment of orders.
  • Assist with cycle counts and year-end inventory audits.
  • Resolve inventory-related issues and discrepancies promptly.
  • Maintain a clean and organized inventory storage area.
  • Operate inventory management software and other tools efficiently.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in inventory management, logistics, or a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience as an Inventory Clerk or in a similar role.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient in using inventory management software, databases, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts) is a bonus.
  • Good communication skills (both written and verbal) and the ability to work effectively with team members.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving inventory items.
  • Basic math skills for inventory counts and calculations.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Training:
  • On-the-job training will be provided to familiarize the Inventory Clerk with company-specific inventory management procedures and software.
