Simple Technology Solutions is looking for a Business Analyst to add to our team.

Quick Position Overview:

Required qualifications are as follows -

  • US Citizenship
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum of 3 years in business analysis or a related field is required

The Role:
Simple Technology Solutions is seeking a Business Analyst to join our team and provide critical support for technical project management. In this role, you will work closely with project managers, business teams, and technical teams to analyze business requirements, define project scopes, and ensure that technical solutions align with business objectives, and develop project documentation. Your communication skills, analytical skills, and attention to detail will help drive successful project outcomes.

At STS, the Business Analyst will:

  • Collaborate with project managers, business teams, and technical teams to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for technical projects.
  • Work with business and technical teams to translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements.
  • Assist in the development of project scopes, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Support the management of project timelines, resources, and risks by providing detailed analysis and reporting.
  • Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure mutual understanding and project success.
  • Assist in the evaluation of project performance, identifying areas for improvement and recommending solutions.
  • Utilize industry-standard business analysis methodologies to drive project success, including PMI, Agile, and Scrum practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Offer guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering their professional growth and a collaborative team environment, while serving as an example of service delivery excellence.
  • Maintain an active presence within both STS and industry business analysis communities, staying at the forefront of research and industry best practices.

Education and Experience:

Required

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, MIS, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in business analysis, technical project support, or a similar role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to understand complex business processes.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with project management tools and methodologies is highly desirable.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Preferred Certifications

  • PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA)
  • Certified Scrum Practitioner (CSP)
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
