We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) to join our healthcare team. The PT will help patients improve their mobility and manage pain through individualized treatment plans. This role involves working with patients of all ages who have medical problems or other health-related conditions that limit their ability to move and perform functional activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patient's physical conditions to diagnose movement dysfunction and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Develop and implement treatment plans that include exercises, stretches, hands-on therapy, and the use of equipment to help relieve pain, improve mobility, and increase strength.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, exercises, and techniques to enhance recovery and prevent future injuries.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed to achieve optimal results.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and occupational therapists, to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care.
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, including evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
- Conduct patient evaluations, including the use of diagnostic tests and measurements to assess physical function and treatment effectiveness.
- Advise patients on healthy lifestyle habits and exercise routines to promote overall well-being.
- Participate in continuing education opportunities to stay updated on the latest advancements in physical therapy.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards of practice.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using physical therapy tools and technology.
Working Conditions:
- Work may be conducted in various settings, including hospitals, clinics, rehabilitation centers, and patients' homes.
- May require travel between different locations and working with patients in diverse environments.
- Physical requirements include the ability to stand, walk, and move during therapy sessions, and to lift or support patients as needed.
Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
Proven experience as a Physical Therapist in a clinical or healthcare setting.
Strong knowledge of physical therapy techniques, exercises, and equipment
