Job DescriptionJob DescriptionESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES IN CHILD CARE include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Under supervision of the Program Supervisor conducts planned children's activities.
Reinforces positive parenting and responsible supervision of children.
Works closely with Counselor/Advocates to meet the needs of family case management.
Provides information, referral, crisis intervention and advocacy for children who are program participants.Works with the supervisor to incorporate practicum students and volunteers into the children’s program.
Responds to crisis calls; provides information and referrals as needed.
Attends case staffings, in-service trainings and staff meetings as assigned.
Provides support to residents and assists them with problem solving.
Assists campus staff in providing comprehensive, holistic services to clients.
Must have experience working with children.
Must pass background check.
