H&S Coordinator

Job Summary:

Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) provides power circuits for systems found in cloud computing, telecom infrastructure, automotive, industrial and consumer applications.

MPS is seeking an energetic, efficient, self-motivated and resourceful team player to be a member of its Facility Administration staff supporting for our local office activities in Barcelona as well as for other European subsidiaries.

Essential Functions:

• Leads collaborative environmental, health and safety projects across all operations sites in Europe.

• Leads and deploys execution of facility security program.

• Provides guidance on environment, health & safety matters to all stakeholders within designated area of responsibility.
• Ensures compliance with environmental, health and safety regulatory requirements.

• Ensures emergency response plans are in place and aligned with local regulatory and corporate requirements.
• Participates in strategic planning to drive environmental sustainability projects.
• Maintains reporting for our ESG program. (+ LEED)
• Attends inspections or audits government agencies, municipality government, etc.

• Supervises facility set up and maintenance coordinating with service providers, tracking agreements (AC/heating/fire extinguishing system, electrical installations etc.).
• Support for ad hoc projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

• BS/BA degree in H&S Engineering / Technical Engineering or related field
• Training in Project management and Continuous Improvement methodologies ( Kaizen, 5’s, Six Sigma, etc.)
• Facility management experience is highly valuable.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent analytical and organization skills.
• Advance knowledge of Excel, PM software,etc.
• Fluent in Spanish, Catalan and English (C1) (other EU language is a +)
