The Bug Company, an innovative leader in the insect production industry, is excited to announce a job opening for a Warehouse Production Team Member. This pivotal role is designed for a dedicated and hardworking individual eager to contribute to the production process of our high-quality insect products. As a vital member of our team, the successful candidate will help maintain and enhance our production standards and efficiency.

This is a Full-Time position requiring the candidate to work on-site at our production facility. As this is not a remote job, the candidate is expected to be present at our location for their scheduled shifts, contributing directly to our operations and results. If you are passionate about insects and have a keen interest in taking part in the operational backbone of our industry-leading company, we encourage you to apply.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Participate in the loading and unloading of materials from trucks and verify that all received and shipped goods are accurately recorded and labeled.
  • Ensure the production area is clean and organized, adhering to all health, safety, and environmental guidelines and policies.
  • Uphold the safety and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with other team members to meet production targets and deadlines, while maintaining a high level of product quality.
  • Handle and manage resources efficiently to minimize waste and optimize productivity.
  • Support continual improvement activities aimed at enhancing production workflows and processes.
  • Participate in regular team meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and strategies for achieving department goals.
Requirements
  • Prior experience working in a production or manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently without continuous supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy are essential for upholding the quality of our products.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to effectively collaborate with other team members.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods, accommodating a dynamic manufacturing environment.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment in compliance with all regulatory standards.
  • Flexibility to work past scheduled shifts as needed by production demands.

Shift

Tuesday - Saturday 7:30 am - 4:00 pm

**Hours will fluctuate based on the shipping schedules and company needs**
