This position will be responsible for providing accurate and precise estimates for our projects. The ideal candidate will have a solid history in a similar position with documented successes.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Completing quantity surveys
  • Understand project scheduling in order to provide input to project management
  • Subcontractor coordination
  • Reading and understanding job bid instructions
  • Preparing an accurate project estimate
  • Conceptual Estimating from preliminary project parameters
  • Understanding timelines and applicable project deadlines


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION + EXPERIENCE

Qualified applicants will have experience in the following:

  • Post-secondary degree from an accredited university in Construction Engineering, Construction Management or other field relevant to the position
  • 5-10 years in the construction industry
  • 5 years’ experience in bidding projects while keeping appropriate profit margins
