Preconstruction Manager

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct the overall planning and development of new project activities and the activities of all current projects.
  • Assist in schedule development and advise the client and other project team members concerning base building and internal project management.
  • Evaluate and critique the progress of design development, budget, and schedule.
  • Develop conceptual estimates utilizing market data and determine quantities of materials during early stages of the design.
  • Develop scopes of work for all project-related trades.
Requirements:
  • B.S. in Construction Management or a related degree is strongly preferred, but extensive work-related experience will be considered.
  • 10 years of project management and estimating experience in commercial construction.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience.
  • Proficiency in the development of commercial construction projects.
