We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our Distribution Center team at Corona Tools in Louisville, KY. The Warehouse Supervisor oversees all warehouse operations as a hands-on leader, serving and motivating warehouse employees, leading by example, and fostering a positive team-building atmosphere. The candidate will supervise and continuously improve all inbound, outbound, kitting, and internal inventory movement.

Essential Functions:

  • Supervises, trains, and directs assistance of warehouse operations which include, but not limited to, loading/unloading, receiving, sorting, put away, picking, kitting, and inventory control.
  • Leads by example to ensure that all procedures, policies, and best practices are consistently followed.
  • Drives an efficient and motivated workforce by providing effective coaching, feedback, and encouragement.
  • Maintains accurate inventory levels by leading regular physical counts with warehouse teams and reconciles discrepancies with the warehouse inventory system.
  • Ensures a culture of safety by enforcing safety standards and adhering to standard operational procedures.
  • Supports Distribution Center wide projects and helps ensure all deliverables are completed by the commitment date.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Warehouse Supervisor Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required. Associate degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of combined supervisory experience in Warehousing or Third-Party Logistics.
  • Strong knowledge of modern warehousing practices and methods.
  • Proven track record of supervising at least 10 warehouse employees.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, leadership, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Critical thinking ability and proactive problem solving.
  • Experience with inventory control, inventory reconciliation, and cycle counting.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and inventory management software.
  • Ability to operate forklift and other distribution center equipment.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English, preferred.

Working Conditions for Warehouse Supervisor:

  • Warehouse environment. Rarely temperature controlled.
  • Training may occur on site throughout the year.
  • Lifts heavy objects by hand or with equipment. Must be able to safely lift 30-50 pounds.

Physical Demands for Warehouse Supervisor:

  • Sit, stand, walk, and move about the warehouse 8 or more hours per day on concrete floors.
  • Talk and hear both in person and on the telephone.
  • Use hands and fingers to type, write, and use the computer and telephone system.
  • Stoop, lift, and bend.
