Project/Program Manager 1 Description:
- Our BU & Segment Marketing team within the Global Communications and Marketing organization (GCM) seeks a launch manager contractor to support the team. This role will primarily involve managing the coordination and alignment of product launches for two business units. Duties include scheduling and hosting weekly launch meetings, establishing a plan, and managing input into the plan from various stakeholders, establishing a work back calendar with major milestones to drive launch success, and managing the reporting out process.
- The ideal candidate will have semiconductor industry experience and a proven ability to manage integrated launches across multiple workstreams and stakeholders and content development.
- This role will need to work closely with team members on the BU & Segment marketing team, business unit stakeholders, and stakeholders within the broader GCM team.
- Work with segment and business unit owners to establish appropriate launch timing across yearly launch calendar
- Schedule, manage agenda and host weekly launch scrums across major business units integrating both key GCM teams and business unit representatives
- Establish plan template for launches and work with segment owners, business unit and GCM teams to complete
- Manage GCM input process into plans – remind of deadlines, ensure content matches expected output and includes tactical plan, budget, KPIs
- Establish a workback calendar including major milestones and deadlines for each launch
- Through launch meetings, manage the workback calendar with COEs (Center of Excellence) to ensure launches are on track and deliverables are not being dropped
- Manage the report out process, including setting up the template and ensuring other GCM teams complete
- Manage any budgeting need and SOW (Scope of Work) creation relating to launches
- Be efficient in using Microsoft Office/365 tools, specifically: Word, Excel, PPT and Teams
- Be familiar with content management systems, experience with Workfront a plus
- Demonstrate strong project management and time management skills, with excellent organization, follow-through, and attention to details
- Can develop cross-functional communication and build relationships with diverse stakeholders and colleagues
- Have experience in a large, fast growing, fast paced company and/or in the high-tech sector, experience working with external partners is a plus
- $33-35/hr W-2
