Think Hospitality seeks a Director of Information Technology to join our team, responsible for managing multiple hotel and restaurant locations in Miami Beach and surrounding areas in South Florida

The Director of IT will fully control all technology aspects for 10 hotels and 5 restaurants including but not limited to:

Overall Scope and Responsibility:

  • Server systems
  • Network infrastructure
  • Switches and firewalls
  • Wifi and wifi controllers
  • CCTV
  • PBX and phones
  • PMS (InforHMS, Opera, Opera Cloud, Webrez, Roommaster, Stayntouch)
  • RMM
  • AV
  • Key systems (Assa Abloy, Salto, Saflok)
  • Disaster backup and recovery
  • M365
  • Dropbox
  • PCI compliance
  • TV systems
  • Workstations and laptops

Main Duties:

  • Facilitating new properties take-over, migration and corporate standards implementation.
  • Shares and implements ideas and best practices.
  • Constantly finds ways to improve OPEX and CAPEX.
  • Ensures minimal downtime for the critical systems and establishes priorities for system upgrades.
  • Maintains confidentiality, security and recoverability of the hotel information, correspondence, systems and performs regular security monitoring to identify intrusions.
  • Establishes and maintains IT and user procedures and technology familiarization.
  • Communicates with multiple IT vendors to ensure accurate implementation of SLAs and maintenance scopes.

  • 5 years previous experience in IT
  • Ability to navigate and prioritize the tasks of multiple locations
  • Credit Card Processing
  • Ability to evaluate software and hardware
  • Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
  • Strong and diverse communication skills
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
  • Team Player
