About the Role:

We are seeking a qualified and motivated Cardiac Sonographer (Echo Tech) to join our team at our Rochester, NY location. This is a day shift position (Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM) with a 13-week start date of July 8th, 2024.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of non-invasive echocardiographic examinations on adult patients to assess cardiac function and anatomy.
  • Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Epic electronic health record system.
  • Ensure proper functioning and calibration of echocardiographic equipment.
  • Maintain a sterile and safe work environment.
  • Participate in continuing education to stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in echocardiography.

Qualifications:

  • Must hold RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) or RCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer) credentials.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a hospital setting performing adult echocardiography is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach.
