Inventory Specialist - Auto Max

Job description

MEI Auto Group is currently seeking an Inventory Specialist. This position is responsible for performing a variety of duties as it relates to the customer service and inventory needs of the dealership. This position interacts daily with all departments of Fixed Operations to include Service Advisors, Service Managers, support staff, and customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure daily maintenance and security of the building, display areas, and work-in progress zones.
  • Assist with the completion of the daily reconciliation of vehicle inventory; ensuring each vehicle has required window and federal stickers.
  • Clean out customers’ property of all repossessed vehicles and follow the property removal process.
  • Drive vehicles to and from various locations as needed for recondition process completion and deliver them to the correct storage area. Transport vehicles when needed.
  • Ensure interior and exterior building facilities are always kept up to company standards.
  • Perform the following process as trained and requested by management.
    • Vehicle receiving & check-in.
    • Cosmetic inspection,
    • Photo (12 with no more than 20 quality photographs)
    • Inventory Reconciliation Count
    • Drive Cycle
    • Quality Check
    • Final Quality Check
  • Ensure vehicles are moved through reconditioning process according to the 3 principles of meiGroup’s Reconditioning Process and Reconditioning Mapping
  • Ensure location cleanliness and organization in accordance with meiGroup’s 5’s standards.
  • Complete assigned tasks independently and follow up after completion.
  • General mechanical knowledge to be able to jump start and drive vehicles.
  • Transport customers and dealership personnel as needed
  • Perform deliveries as required
  • Deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Read interpret and transcribe data to maintain accurate records.
  • Required to perform multiple duties in a high energy, fast paced working environment.
  • Speak and listen effectively when dealing with internal and external customers.
  • Function effectively within other departments in a team-oriented environment

Compensation: $15 (Depending on Experience)

Schedule: Monday - Friday - 8AM- 6PM - (Occasional Saturdays)
