SUMMARY: This position is responsible for the development of the operating and financial plan required to achieve the strategic plan determined by the CEO, CFO and Board of Directors. Additional responsibilities include provide insights and analysis on various operational initiatives to determine their effectiveness and financial impact.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Analyzing key performance indicators, cost of sales, operating expenses, and capital expenditures (includes developing financial models and decision-making tools). Providing strategic insights and conclusions based on this analysis
  • Lead the monthly Financial Planning and Analysis process and work closely with the Accounting department to ensure a timely accurate month-end & year-end closings
  • Lead and drive the annual planning process, support the company's long-range planning in benchmark studies, market research, etc.
  • Drive processes to improve efficiencies and reduce time spent on low-value activities so that more time can be spent driving value for business partners and ultimately, shareholders
  • Generate insight and drive outcomes by challenging assumptions, scoping and framing problems, and analyzing and delivering solutions.
  • Engage with senior leaders within the company to drive strategic transformation and integration high-profile initiatives
  • Acquire and maintain a thorough understanding of business issues, strategies and risks and profitability opportunities
  • Review monthly results with Operations and/or Project Delivery teams on a monthly basis to highlight performance and coordinate on forecasts
  • Participate in cross-functional efforts to continuously improve data quality and establish rigor in measuring and monitoring the business including assisting in the development of system improvements
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the CFO.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) or equivalent experience in a financial analysis role
  • Five to seven years related experience in FP&A or related role
  • Working knowledge of Accounting and Financial principles
  • Superb ability to multitask and prioritize while maintain attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees.
  • Proficient on Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience in Power BI or other BI software a strong plus
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels
  • High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation
  • Creative, flexible, and innovative team player
  • Commitment to excellence and high standards
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
