THE ROLE
Lifeguards ensure the safety of our aquatic customers by scanning the pool, preventing accidents, enforcing the rules and appropriately responding to emergency situations. All employees must attend preseason and in-service training sessions. Other duties as assigned by supervisor(s).


SCHEDULE

Summer Months (May – August) Mondays – Sundays

Shifts vary depending on staff availability

Typically staff receive 10-35 hours a week

Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS
What does it take to succeed in this role? We’re looking for a motivated individual with strong time management skills and a willingness to learn. The ideal candidate should enjoy working with children/have the ability to effectively communicate with both children and adults. Current certification with the American Red Cross is required. Must be at least 15 years of age. Training and certification is available at a discounted rate for candidates deemed eligible.
