Responsibilities:
- Receiving and carrying out repair orders as dispatched.
- Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
- Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
- Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
- Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain automotive systems.
- Performing work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
- Perform proper vehicle inspections.
- Full automotive troubleshooting and testing
Requirements for eligibility:
- Clean driving record
- Must be willing to submit to a drug screen and background check.
- 19 years of age or older.
- Great mechanical, electrical skills and computing skills.
- Experience in an independent shop a plus.
- Previous European automotive technician experience preferred.
- ASE certifications preferred but not required.
- BMW Certification Levels 1, 2, 3 or 4 a plus but not required.
- BMW/MINI factory training and experience a plus but not required
