Office Hours are Monday - Thursday (32-34 hours weekly).
The Dental Assistant should exhibit the following qualities
- On-time
- Friendly, reliable, team player, eager to learn new skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Assist with performing assessments and treatment with the dentist
- Take diagnostic digital radiographs
- Chair-side assisting
- Provide post-operative instructions following procedures
- Proficient in proper PPE and sterilization procedures
- Understand all OSHA requirements for infection control procedures
- Helps patients feel comfortable and confident with their dental care
- Provides guidance and instruction to patients on the benefits of oral health
- Proven ability to follow outlined policies and guidelines
- Possess a professional and positive attitude
- Participates in training, staff meetings, and occasional special events
Qualifications of Dental Assistant
- One year of Dental Assistant experience
- Current CPR certification preferred
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
