Lanz Heating & Cooling, Inc. is looking to add a full-time entry-level HVAC Technician / Maintenance Technician to our Champaign, IL team. You can expect a typical schedule of 8:00 am - 4:30 pm but we also offer flexible schedules. Our entry-level HVAC Technician / Maintenance Technician earns a competitive wage of $17-$20 per hour, based on experience. Top earning techs make over $85,000/year due to our generous revenue-sharing bonuses and SPIFFS based on positive customer feedback as well as sales. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ENTRY-LEVEL HVAC TECHNICIAN / MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

As an entry-level HVAC Technician / Maintenance Technician, you learn and work alongside our more experienced techs. You enjoy interacting with our customers as you go into their homes to perform precision tune-ups on their heating and cooling systems. As you work, you may find items that need to be fixed but before making those repairs, you are sure to explain our services and policies to customers. Before leaving a customers' home, you ensure that they are satisfied with their home comfort. Your attention to detail not only assists you with properly servicing HVAC systems but also with completing important paperwork and collecting payments. You are a hard worker who pays close attention to what you are being taught so that you can advance in your career.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Willingness to enroll in HVAC technical school and/or in-house training programs
  • Confidence working from heights and operating power and hand tools
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
