The East Moline Public Library is hiring a full-time library clerk and custodian. This position will be scheduled 30-32 hours a week with 16 hours working in customer service assisting patrons and performing circulation duties and 14-16 hours cleaning the library. The schedule is Monday - Thursday 3pm-9:30pm plus a 4 hour shift on rotating Friday/Saturday during the daytime. This position includes medical, dental, vision, IMRF, sick leave, and vacation leave. Starting wage is $15.00-$16.00 depending on experience. Must be 18 years of age. Please see attached description for full details. Applications will be accepted until filled. No phone calls.


The City of East Moline will conduct a comprehensive job specific background investigation on any finalist for this position. Background investigations are conducted by trained investigators within the East Moline Police Department and Human Resources.
