Job DescriptionJob DescriptionIf you’re a safe driver with a positive, friendly attitude, we have a great opportunity for you. We’re looking for a responsible worker with a good driving record to help us manage vehicle flow for our car dealership’s service lane and showroom areas. Our car porter should have great communication skills, a professional appearance, and be customer service oriented. You’ll be part of a larger automotive group service porter team that drives vehicles, as directed when they are ready for pick up. You may also spend time cleaning cars or checking fluids on customer vehicles. Does this sound like a job you’ll love? If so, apply todayCompensation:

$16 - $18 hourly

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a professional attitude and greet customers with a smile
  • Keep parking lot, service drive, and other car porter areas neat and tidy
  • Work with the auto group service advisor to complete tasks such as keeping track of key tasks, cleaning cars, driving vehicles from service stalls, following dealership display standards, fielding customer requests, and other assigned duties
  • Drive vehicles safely as directed by automotive dealership staff in the showroom or service area
  • Ensure customer vehicles are ready for return after service department repairs
Qualifications:
  • A good driving record and valid state-issued driver’s license is required
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
  • Communication and customer service skills are essential
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment background check is required
