We are looking for a Salad/Pantry Cook for our New Asian Inspired Restaurant at Chase Center Opening October 2024. Together we are on a mission to bridge cultures through food, and we want YOU to join us on our mission

Position Summary:
As a Salad/Pantry cook you will be responsible for the preparation and assembly of cold appetizers, salads, and other pantry items. You will work closely with the culinary team to maintain consistency, accuracy and presentation standards.
Job Responsibilities:
Cold Dish Preparation: Prepare a variety of cold dishes, including salads, appetizers, and dressings, according to the restaurant’s recipes and standards.
Ingredient Preparation: Wash, chop, and prepare ingredients such as fruits, vegetables, meats, cheeses, and herbs.
Assembly & Presentation: Assemble and present cold dishes attractively and in a timely manner, ensuring consistency in portion sizes and visual appeal.
Quality Control: Ensure that all pantry items are fresh and prepared according to food safety standards, regularly checking expiration dates and maintaining freshness.
Plating & Garnishing: Properly garnish plates and ensure that the presentation meets the restaurant's standards.
Stocking & Inventory: Monitor and stock pantry items, keeping track of inventory and informing kitchen management of shortages or the need to reorder supplies.
Sanitation & Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to all food safety and sanitation regulations.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations, particularly during peak service times.
Qualifications:
Experience: Previous experience as a salad/pantry cook or in a similar role in a restaurant environment preferred.
Skills: Strong knife skills and a keen eye for detail in food presentation.
Attention to Detail: A keen eye for presentation and consistency, with a focus on delivering dishes of the highest quality.
Team Player: Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Organization: Ability to manage time efficiently and keep workspaces clean and organized.
Flexibility: Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the restaurant.
