- Key Responsibilities: Traveling to customers' locations, installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting packaging equipment, building strong relationships with clients, training customers' operators and technicians, ensuring availability of spare parts, preparing detailed work orders, providing technical assistance over phone or remote connection, and following a 24-hour call schedule.
- Required Skills and Experience: Mechanical and/or electrical experience in the packaging industry, experience in machine repair/maintenance, knowledge of PLCs, servo driven motors and controls, basic knowledge of a voltmeter, ability to read and understand engineering designs, good communication skills, experience with Microsoft Office products, good interpersonal and organizational skills, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently.
- Additional Requirements: Domestic and international travel, 24-hour call rotation, clean motor vehicle record, and residency in Northwest Georgia preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to bend and stoop frequently, lift up to 75 lbs. as needed, stand and walk for prolonged periods.
