Job Description:

NSG, Inc. is actively seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician at a large commercial office facility in downtown Cincinnati, OH. The ideal candidate will showcase experience in a variety of trade skills relating to all areas of facility maintenance. You will be responsible for the repair and upkeep of equipment and building systems and ensure facilities are tidy and functional.

Being reliable with a keen eye for detail is the first step to getting this job. The ideal candidate will have experience and proven technical knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance tasks such as repairing door hardware, painting, drywall, ceiling tiles, changing filters, changing belts, cleaning coils, general plumbing, assist with trouble shooting electrical systems, wiring, outlets, lights, lamps, pumps, and valves.
  • Check and ensure functionality of multiple safety systems.
  • Document settings and readings.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to work on multiple projects.
  • Work independently and the ability to plan ahead.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements and skills

  • Self-Starter who is results oriented.
  • Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.
  • Experience using hand and electrical tools.
  • Ability to read technical manuals and understand drawings.
  • Very good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical stamina and dexterity.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Successful completion of an apprenticeship is a major plus.

Qualifications:

  • 5 years of commercial maintenance or construction experience or on-the-job training in at least one of the following areas: HVAC, electrical, mechanical, painting, plumbing, carpentry, general maintenance is a plus.
  • Valid Driver's License.

Work Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (40 Hours Per Week).
  • On-call rotation (1 week a month).

Compensation:

  • $20-$22 per hour.
  • Weekly pay every Friday.
