POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the general direction of their supervisor, this position ensures the successful sourcing of candidates to staff quality programs, management of relationships with key partners and leverage relationships to promote enrollment in youth development programs as well as provide leadership of operations in schools.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Bachelor’s degree in a directly related field or an equivalent combination of directly related

experience, training, and/or education.

2. YMCA experience is preferred.

3. Successful track record of project management.

4. Must possess strong organizational and management skills and the ability to build

relationships effectively with staff and volunteers.

5. Must be able to meet state childcare licensing requirements.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Provide leadership to the assigned part of the candidate process resulting in sites staffed to reach program goals through sourcing and/or interviewing and/ or scheduling and onboarding.

2. Lead communication with candidates/ employees with a focus on retention.

3. Oversee and respond within scope of work to needs of site staff in program quality operations.

4. Ensure child care licensing guidelines are adhered to as it relates to your assigned scope of work.

5. Ensure the development, implementation and innovation of high quality programs through the recruitment of staff and enrollment pushes, resulting in annual program growth.

6. Lead and manage assigned project plans that lead to department and organizational goals.

7. Supervise assigned direct reports through regular check-ins.

8. Assist with overall supervision of the annual financial operating budgets for designated operations.

9. Ensures the operational growth of the YMCA through program expansion, program participant recruitment and retention, pricing strategies, new site development, and collaborations.

10.Represent the YMCA and cultivate relationships with school officials, community stakeholders, and established YMCA partners ensuring consistent communication and strong relationships.

11.Assume other duties and responsibilities as assigned by and agreed to with their supervisor to meet the changing needs of the program.

12.Provides leadership to assigned scope of work :


• Assist with recruiting, training, placement, relationship building and supervisingvolunteers/interns in the organization.• Provide opportunities for meaningful engagement of volunteers with the YouthDevelopment department.
