Job Summary:

Responsible for maintaining one or a combination of general accounting systems. Provides record of assets, liabilities and other financial transactions. Examines, analyzes and interprets accounting records for the purpose of giving advice or preparing statements. Balances accounts periodically and assists in preparation of profit and loss, income and balance sheet statements.

Duties and Responsiblities:

  • Prepare journal entries and financial statements for monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings.
  • Manage and process intercompany activity.
  • Oversee customer and vendor onboarding.
  • Assist the Senior Accountant with consolidation activities within OPERA.
  • Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries documenting business transactions.
  • Audit and reconcile the credit card purchase program and expense report process within Concur.
  • Assist in the preparation of balance sheet, profit and loss statements, and other reports to summarize the current and projected financial position of the company.
  • Compile information required for tax estimates and filings.
  • Recommend control systems to ensure accurate and timely information.
  • Reconcile account balances and prepare monthly workpapers.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (BA) in Finance/Accounting.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Experience in manufacturing is a plus.
  • Familiarity with TMM, IQMS, and Sage is a plus.
  • Proficient with Windows, Excel, Word, Access, and Outlook.
  • High level of written and oral communication skills.
  • High integrity, honesty, and excellent organizational skills with the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent presentation preparation and delivery skills.
  • The position regularly requires the employee to sit for extended periods.
  • Must pass pre-employment screenings (background check and drug screen)

Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
