Your team is responsible for all aspects of managing agency finances to ensure we stay compliant with all applicable laws, and to continue the agency’s mission to serve local communities. 

What You’ll Be Doing
You will be responsible for all third-party billing and accounts receivable functions of the agency’s childcare and elder care programs. You will also assist the Vice President of Finance in the preparation of recording revenue and receivables in the financial statements related to these functions. 

Your Main Priorities
While additional responsibilities are likely to arise on the job, you will primarily:
•    Ensures all internal and external policies, procedures, and regulations are being followed in compliance with third-party payers and manage care contracts. 
•    Establish records in the electronic billing system and update data as necessary. 
•    Monitors and accurately record all client activity entered in the electronic billing system. 
•    Oversee billable activity from non-billable activity to produce revenue and receivable if not billable, monitor and report the activity to be included in productivity statistics. 
•    Ensures all fee agreements are signed with correct billing information and authorization to bill is on file for all applicable clients. 
•    Posts charges, payments, credits, and adjustments to client accounts. 
•    Prepare billing statements monthly, or as necessary to ensure third-party claim submission deadlines are met. 

Who You Are
Requirements, Skills & Abilities:
•    Associate degree in business administration required; bachelor’s degree preferred. 
•    Minimum 5 years’ experience of bookkeeping required. 
•    Experience with third-party billing preferred. 
•    Strong organizational, critical thinking and time-management skills.
•    Basic computer skills required; knowledge of Microsoft Office 365.
•    Ability to communicate and effectively interact with a diverse population.
•    Collaboration and teamwork. 
•    The ideal candidate will be required to meet all background checks and medical clearances required for the position. 

Physical Requirements
Operational Staff:
This position involves work in an office setting. Tasks include operating a computer for extended periods, communicating with colleagues, and occasional lifting of office/department materials up to 25lbs. The role also requires the ability to sit for extended periods, bending, reaching, hearing and vision.
